I found my blog lol

Its been crazy and not so crazy but mostly lazy when it comes to my blog. Sorry about that! Lately i've been trying to turn the page in my life and get my dreams going again. When I had to give my horse away in Feb 2007 I was heart broken and I feel like I've been in a slump ever since. Well it's damn well time to STOP!

I've gotten my horse books out of my cedar chest down stairs; I've found a GREAT horse rescue to volunteer at; still trying to find the right place to take lesons but need boots and a helmet first. hopefully those are comming soon lol and speeking of the horse rescue...it's only 12 minutes away from here. It's called Beech Brook Farm & Equine Rescue!! i've been a volunteer there for about 3 weeks now and LOVE doing it. It's gotten my spirits up and gotten me off my lazy ass! So anywho...now i'm gonna go into the pitch LMAO

ok so I went in to change some html on my blog...no big deal right? BIG DEAL...the freaking bird jumped on my keyboard and somehow ALL of my kewl blog rolls and pics and html stuff disappeared so I haven't been able to get my butt on here to put it ALL BACK ON!! Maybe its a good thing that I can start from scratch? to that I just say UGH!

ANYWHO...i know i didn't post much last year cause last year sucked for me! I'm hoping this year will be better because damn it I'm gonna make it better!

JANUARY 2010 (so far)

SPINNING - I've been spinning for a shawl for the Ravelympics!

KNITTING - got a hat and a dishcloth done

CROCHETING - did a thread gingerbread man and am now doing a cowl.

WIPS - i did do a few rows on my crochet baby blanket

I have also been putting my stash into the rav database slowly but surely! I have been trying to do it for 2 years now and i WILL do it this year durnit!

JEWELERY - I have been trying to organize my stuff into bins or baggies

CERAMICS - Have had an itch to start painting again but need to find a good shop around here.

I've also had an itch to start the dollhouse i never built for shade before she was born. :(

I'm still here...had a REALLY RUFF June and July.....but now I've got to be positive about things. Got my wedding coming up in September and try to register Shade for preschool. HOLY SHIT it feels like just yesterday she was 7 pounds 8 ounces and looking like a salamander! Anywho...been getting my craft mojo back :) Doing a tablecloth, scarf, learning how to do my first socks and spinning some beautiful fiber from my friend Sandi. :) All 4 ounces are spun and hopefully ply them in a day or 2. Not sure what else to say for now since I hear my darling daughter whining about NOTHING!!

Hi everybody that may read my blog! Sorry I have been away but I have been going through legal disputes with our landlord! I haven't had a bathtub in over 2 weeks!! Good thing we have a half bath at least! We spent the weekend in a Hilton Hotel as a little Mini family vacation, and to take a fucking shower!

CT Sheep & Wool festival was on Saturday and was cute. I think that I know a little more about fiber/yarn it didn't WOW me as much this year. I did get some nice Cormo/Alpaca roving and some mohair locks I'll be dyeing up! Then I had to rush home by 1:30 to get married to my wonderful man Casey! We then just chilled for the rest of the day! and Sunday was the Mystic Aquarium...I don't know why we didn't go there sooner! Shade loved it and even had a fit because we had to leave. That's a 3 year old though. :(

Came home to the house and cut the grass. Even though we are in a legal dispute with our landlord I didn't want US to look like assholes. Ya know? All we wanted was the bathroom redone (because it was in disrepair) and done right! Its the only reason we agreed to move in cause he said he would fix the bathroom ASAP BUT he is a cheap ass trying to cut corners to save some money so we called the state inspector on him. Now he isn't fixing the bathroom and sent us a "Notice to Quit" for eviction, which he has no grounds to do that. We know hes just doing this to try and get back at us for calling the inspector which is ILLEGAL to do in CT. So what he didn't know is that we have a lawyer in the family and that we don't get scared. I think that hes hoping we were going to tuck and run so he doesn't get caught in all his lies. Cause we heard him tell his wife (before we moved in) that he had already fixed the bathroom. LMAO So now he told her this time that he only came out to fix 2 bolts on the toilet! So not only is he going to get fucked legally, his wife is going to find out he lied to her! WHOOPS!!

Anywho, enough venting. I'm off to do something..I'm just in a blah mood.

What I've been up to!

Well wedding plans of course but that's for another post!

Since I rented a Baynes ST wheel I've been doing a lot of spinning.

Here is a Jazzturtle 1 0z Treasure Chest Batt that I spun into 145 yards of lace "textured" singles. I forgot to take a picture of the batt cause I was excited but I do have these wonderful pics of the yarn. If you have any ideas of what I could make out of it, PLEASE let me know. :)

Next we have Shady Fibers Pretty Persuasion SW Merino roving made into lace singles:

AND THEN I plied them together and got:

So I have 77 yards in one skein and 48 yards in the second out of 4.6 ounces.:)

Spinning Right Along!

OK, so here is the lace cotton that I have been doing on my .75 ounce spindle. I usually just spin this whenever I am flying somewhere while playing WOW (World of Warcraft) Makes the flying time shorter. Specially when you hit 50 and you have to fly EVERYWHERE to get one or a few things done. UGH!

And below is the worsted singles from my Zoot Suit Riot roving from dkKnits fiber club. It is going right along now since I have 2/3 of a 4oz roving finished and will be plying tomorrow. Got about 106 yards with barely any waste. YAY!! And cats haven't gotten to it either so no waste there as well.

Can't wait to ply it up and see how it turns out. I have been following dkKnits blog

for her tutorial. The only problem that I just noticed is that my roving is green on all ends to where she says to split it for shorter bursts of color. :( So I, i believe, i will just be getting LONG strips of color. With these colors it will still look GREAT!

I ALSO bought 8 ounces of alpaca/tussah silk roving. OMFG is it soft and GORGEOUS!!! This is definitely a wait till i am good enough on my wheel fiber. I was thinking of dying it but it is such a nice beige/tan color. PLUS i don't want to ruin it because i don't think my dye will dye the tussah silk. Of course it would be a kewl variation in the roving if the tussah didn't take the dye. Maybe I will take a little bit and experiment.

Yeah I think thats it for now.

Lets start with crafty stuff. OK so I only have a few rows of the raglan repeat on my sweater before I can try it on and see how bad I fucked up. lol No I'm kidding. looks pretty good actually.

I have 1/3 of my roving spun up into singles for the March SAL in the Sweet tooths group for my dkKnits fiber club. :) Here is my Zoot Suit Riot roving. Awesome isn't it? :)

And Becky (dkKnits) over at her BLOG has been making tutorials about different ways to spin up your roving to get different effects. Lots of good info. Go check it out.

Still spinning up the practice cotton on my smaller spindle. LOVE cotton! But such a short staple. We are talking millimeters people, not inches like merino or BFL. Definitely have to keep your hands closer while drafting or like some people do is just pull off strips that are the same size so you don't have to draft at all. Somehow I drafted and am ending up with lace weight. I'm actually proud of it. :)

I know I need pics right. Well I'll get to that soon.

Life in a house with a 3 year old while stuck inside from a snow storm kinda sucks ****** ****. Yes i was cursing. We got about a foot and a half of snow. Very pretty but turned into ice last night so that kinda kills the gleam of things. And it froze up to soon to take Shade out in it. ;( Was still snowing till after her bedtime. SORRY KID!

Anywho, off to check my e-mail, etsy, twitter (shadyfibers if you want to follow) and Rav, then go down stairs to knit. I'm sooo tired of the computer.

Did my first ply job on my spindle. WOW. :) Turned out great.

I also started my Thorpe hat with it.

Finished up the rest of the roving too and letting the singles "set" before I ply them.

Also even started pre-drafting the Pretty Persuasion that I had in my shop. It's turning out great. Right now its a fingering weight but I'm going to ply so maybe it will be sport weight when I'm done.

Wee G-mom took Shade for weekend. :) Casey and I had a great time. Crafty front, I'm 1/2 done my mitts for Cesca since I put the first set in shop HERE Working on my SAL, got about 12 rows done knitted up for Thorpe but still need to spin the rest of the fiber so I can finish Thorpe when i run out of yarn. lol Need to CO the Tree again. Keep freaking myself out about the whole first sweater thing. I WILL DO IT. lol Also still destashing on my blog/etsy/ravelry. Please check it all out. I am thinking I am going to finish up the last 2 rounds of my second V-Day doily I have done and put it on the blocking board.

Cesca's B-day is coming up and want to do some awesome mitts for her I have picked out but can't seem to get past the CO with dpn's. UGH!

I also figured out I am going to make a headband out of the hand spun I did. :) I think it will look nice and bright and cheery.

Going to CO the Tree again and see what happens.

Maybe clean the house....or not!! :)

Oh also need to go to the PO to send the PIF booties that sold in my shop. I love click and ship but why don't they do it for smaller items? :( I'm about to just throw 4 stamps on it and see if that works. LMAO

OH this weekend is the Nutmeg Spinner's Guild meeting. I can't wait. I am hoping that maybe I can try out a few wheels. See what I would want to buy. I am still hooked on the Kromski Sonata and believe me...I have gone and researched a lot of wheels. The main thing I want is it to be portable. I am always going places, up to Becky's in MA, or down to my moms or dads house in NJ.

I have no idea!!!

When i had a job I kept thinking I have no time for anything!

Now that I'm an at home mom....I still don't have time for anything!!

WTF!

I'm cleaning, cooking, running errands, etc. I can still barely find time to do anything I want. How is that possible? How did I get all this stuff done when I DID have a job?

Now I'm looking for a job again because we got a GREAT offer to buy the house we are living in and need all the income we can get. Shade also needs to go to preschool and I can't afford it. :( Not just for her letters and numbers but to be with other kids. There is a at-home-moms playgroup I found but they are such SNOBS!! UGH!! and the mall here doesn't have one of those playground thingies. :(

WELL on the crafty side...I am about 80% done my first knitted baby cardi! I have a few mistakes but well it happens when you make your first anything!! Almost!! lol I still think Brooklynn will love it! (She is my new baby niece) I'm also going to try and do some booties and hat that matches!

I am also going to do the Heartwarming wrap again. (Baby blanket) you can see my first one on Ravelry (my name is ShadyFibers) The blanket is from a little booklet I got called So Sweet Baby Afghans by leisure arts! VERY cute afghans. I'm going to use some pale PALE yellow, soft baby yarn that was in the bargain bin. Very Pretty! Actually just glancing at it I don't know if I'm gonna have enough so I may change the yarn. Well I have plenty to choose from!! HAHA

I have also picked up my spindle again. Spinning some beautiful Merino from dkKnits. it's called Aquarium Affair.

LOVIN' The colors. Don't' know why but I've been on a bright rainbow kick! If you got anything like that and you don't want it, send it my way! :) lol I'm on the last ounce but I got flustered last night because it just kept dropping so I stopped before I threw it across the room!

OH OH OH AND....Last snow storm we had I saw something flutter by my window!

No this is NOT another post of "HEY! Buy my very creative and wonderful stuff!" :) I went to check on my etsy shop, no idea 0why since nobody has bought anything in quite some time...but anywho, I was surprised when I saw I had a convo...SWEET! Well it was the woman who bought my mystery box of yarn. SO KEWL!

First she put some awesome stuff on my feedback. Let me tell you I was thrilled. This was back in August she bought it. She said, "Absolutely, 100% Positive Feedback Here! Did I mention Positive Feedback!? This box was literally stuffed to the breaking-point with awesome yarns! Well done! Thank you so much!"

So it's always great to make someone smile no matter how you do it. WINK! :)

Then she just wrote me and said, "Hi there! I purchased your mystery box of yarn a few months back and wanted to show you one of the items I have created using the chenille yarn you sent me! :) I have a scarf planned too in the very near future using the same colors! Just wanted to share... and thanks again for the wonderful assortment of yarn!"

But any who...I have been getting on with the crochet blankets (soccer and thomas) and started a baby blanket for Casey's sister. I promised myself that would be the only things I am working on since I am getting paid for the two full blankets. I do promise that I will no longer be taking custom orders for full blankets, baby blankets are ok but DAMN I am so tired of these blankets its not even funny. I guess its one thing to do a blanket your gonna actually LIKE doing and then sell it, then taking orders for blankets you are going to HATE doing. I don't need the money THAT bad. Cause the funny thing is...is when you have stupid orders like that is when your creative juices start flowing and you want to put the stupid things down, BUT since your getting paid by a customer you know you CAN'T!!! AHHHH. The blankets are going to be X-mas presents for her boys but every day it takes more and more of my strength to even go near those freakin things.

So on other crafty related things...I haven't been able to do anything. Well I did take a small break and beaded a snowflake. But that took all of 10 minutes, and Shade threw a little thing of seed beads around the room. :) She had fun with that, let me tell you! But let me get off and GO BACK TO THE BLANKETS.

If anybody is close to me or wants to fly out here to help me, please feel free, I don't even care if your a serial killer....HELP!!!

LOVIN' IT...being back home in CT. Today I am working on finishing all of the laundry..WOW do I have a lot. You know when you move and maybe you put some bags of clothes in storage. Well when you take them out they still seem OK but you still need to wash them before putting them back in your closet. YEAH...I HAVE A SHIT LOAD!!! Got only about 3 more loads and I should be all done. I think my water bill is gonna be a little high this month though. :(

Crochet Stuff: I've been working on the soccer afghan. Still have a few more motifs to make before sewing together and putting the border. had to keep my wrist in a cast thing for a bit so I couldn't move it cause was it killing me. Then I still have to do the Thomas Tank Engine afghan. UGH. At least I'm getting paid for it. I don't think I charged enough though. But I'm still knew at it. I'll figure out a good system soon on how to price things.

Spinning: I haven't been doing much spinning but i did start some while i was in NJ. Haven't touched it. My mom and dad are getting me my Kromski Sonata for X-Mas. I CAN"T WAIT!!

Knitting: I have been doing some stuff for the RI S&W festival. I still have to download my pics to be able to show you the things I'm making...

So I love searching Etsy.com for some wonderful things people can make. Others.....well not so much. :(

So I was in the chat room and someone put up this awesome looking knitted hooded poncho. So I clicked on it to take a better look. She freakin' had it up as being CROCHETED!!! NO WAY was this crocheted. So I message her about it and she said she knew it was knitted but it looked crocheted and that's why she has "crochet" in her listing. WHAT? Yeah.... NO!! So i message her back that she might want to put that the garment is actually knitted and looks crocheted (although it doesn't) because she is misinterpreting her product and she might have some issues if she sells it for that exact reason. I was really nice about it saying "with all due respect..." blah blah blah... and she just messages me back "thanks for the advice"...

OK well I tried..

I guess it also irks me that people get the knitted and crocheted stuff mixed.

Well that's because it is!! I joined Becky's Fibery Goodness last month and can't say enough about it. I wanted to lick the freakin' bag that it came in. And I actually did...but it tastes like plastic.

You have to answer some questions in the beginning so she can dye the roving to your "tastes" LMAO!!

Just for a preview of mine look at my first shipment! My fav ice cream is Resees Pieces Cup.

Now PLEASE tell me that doesn't look exactly like my ice cream and I will have to slap you!! :)

And she puts extras in too. :) that little ball of goodness in the middle is silk roving! You can either "mix" it in with ice cream, eat it separate, or ply it later.

Well I am visiting my fam in NJ. Its been fun. Had a family reunion on Sunday and can't show you pics because my camera doesn't have an attachment to this laptop. :( BOO cause I have some great pics. There was family there that i haven't seen since I was in diapers. Shhh i actually started crying. I know my cousin Michael, the last time I saw him was his wedding, at least the last time the I remember, and I only remember that because when the wedding was almost done my grandmother fainted and that was the first of her illness. :(

Anywho... my dad is supposed to take Shade and Myself to the zoo today but his house flee Linda wants to go along even though she KNOWS I want to spend time with just the 3 of us...well she also KNOWS I hate her guts but is pretending I don't so we can "get along" The reason we don't get along is a long story going back to me coming back to the east coast. WOW just writing that got me pissed off, I think I need to get a punching bag or something!!!! So I hope he comes over soon with some good news about us going. I won't hold my breath though.

As for crafting I have been doing the FREAKING soccer afghan. Still have a few more rows of motifs to do, plus some half hexagons. Couldn't find any patterns, weirdly enough, so i designed one and it fits perfectly. Go Monet!!

I have done some spinning too. I was doing some dkKnits merino/tencel roving but every five seconds its dropping off. :( Its just freaking slippery. And I'm using my .75 ounce spindle for the first time but after Becky explaining some things I think I'm not gauging the staples of the Merino and Tencel properly. I'll get back to it one day. So i picked up just some plain merino and its going GREAT. :) i know there are still some bumps and bruises in the yarn but I'm damn proud of it. :P I also think that my mom and dad are going to go in together to get my my Kromski Sonata spinning wheel. :) Wouldn't that be awesome!!!

Tomorrow I move into my new house. :) Yes it needs some work but it has ENDLESS Potential..

Pic below is the front of the house. OK, not the greatest but I took it from my camera. The fence, the pool and that white building are getting torn down in the spring. Pool is to close too the house for my liking anyway.

Here is the back of the house. It was built in 1966 so the siding could be redone, but since we are only renting and its a place to stay that is the last of my worries. :)

Here is the BEST part(at least for me). THE BARN!!! So it's 30' x 60' and has one horse stall inside and a sheep pen. Jim (the owner) said I can put more stalls in. I'm thinking another 3 stalls, so four all together. Sheep pen is coming out so I can build a new one. The renters before us kinda....well no they really trashed the place. no electric or water to the barn anymore but Jim is having that fixed in the spring. :) They have old rusted wire fencing up right now which I am replacing with wooden/electric fencing, in the spring. :)

Soo ..... plan on boarding horses and having sheep for their wool. :) OH YEAH. Plus I was told I should get a goat to eat the poison ivy. Do they really do that? If they do that will be a must.

Football season is rapidly approaching, and I’m faced with a bit of a dilemma: what do I do while Boyfriend is watching football? We live together, so it presents a bit of a problem. I don’t mind watching a game everyone once in awhile, but quite frankly, I find nothing about football to be so enthralling that I have to see every play, every game. I never get too excited about the superbowl - why would I? If there’s one thing in life I hate more than anything it’s when people who don’t watch a sport get extremely excited about the championship event and start throwing parties that they expect everyone to come to. The same thing happened with me and the Olympics. I hate the bandwagon fanatics.

But back to my dilemma. What do I do while the football games are on, and his friends are over? Do I put in the noise canceling earphones and attempt to study? Do I head out and do some laundry? Do I hike to the library and try to study there? Do I give up on peace and quiet entirely and just deal with it and watch the endless amounts of football games?

And then it hit me: I can knit something big. I can block off that time every Sunday/Monday/whatever to knitting something big that I can’t carry around with me on public transportation. I have enough yarn to make 2 worsted weight sweaters, and one bulky weight cardigan. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of Wendy Bernard’s book, and it’s finally out and on its merry way to my house. I have so many items in that book tagged as favorites, I’m not quite sure where to begin.

So I thought “hey, why not see if anyone is interested in doing a football season KAL?”

So, are you interested in doing a football season KAL?

The KAL would start on Thursday, September 4, with the start of the new NFL season, and would end on Sunday, December 28. We could potentially extend the KAL (or start another) for the play offs and through the superbowl in February.

The rules would be as follows:

Cast on your project after 9/4/2008 and end by 12/28/2008.
Your project must be something large - which totally depends on your definition of “large.” This could include almost anything: lace wraps, blankets, sweaters, cardigans, baby wardrobes, a sock collection, etc.
Blog and post pictures about it in the KAL blog, interact with your fellow knitters on the blog. You can also post pictures to the Flickr pool.
Join the Ravelry group (to be created if I get enough interest) and participate in the forums, etc.
If you are interested, leave a comment with your Ravelry username and email address!

And yes, this is open to crocheters, too.

Yeah cause I feel those damn monkey's are close to me. :) I have been doing some crochet and knitting. Sorry no pics. :( Uhhh...Found a house in groton to move to and I CAN'T WAIT to move. I will then be a work at home mom or WAHM. Hopefully persueing my goal to open up my own little etsy store. :) Well...my shop IS open but only has 3 items in it because I'm at work and don't have pics of my other items. lol just Search MonetB56 and you can find me. Well, I haven't been able to do much as Shade was sick with a fever and bad cough. :( I did do 3 of Naida's Water bottle holders. LOVE that pattern. So Fast and quick.

Will be doing a shawl from Crochet Garden for my step sister for her wedding. :) Talking to somebody about options for the yarn. it's going to be silk and wool mix. So pretty with a nice sheen from the silk. Other then that I still have to finish my second sock on the sock knitting machine. Maybe I will do it tomorrow @ group. :)

Also planning on going to the RI Sheep & Wool festival. Going to throw Shade in the car and take a trip. :) I know a few people from Ravelry will be there. If you live close maybe you can make it.

But anyway I think thats about it. *HUGZ* and ttyl

OK...well this hasn't been the longest that I haven't posted but I did mean to post earlier then this. Still got to keep those Monkeys off my back. Soo Crochet wise I am done that yellow baby blanket.

Also did a baby cardigan thing and booties.

And this is what Shade was doing while I was sewing in the ends. THANK GOD for washable markers. :)

I am now working on a knitted drop stitch scarf. Have I said that before? I don't remember but I'm about 40% done with it. Guess what its for? An X-Mas present. YES I'm starting early and doing crafty stuff for my fam. If they don't like it they can blow it out of their ass. :)

Yup I'm playing Bingo @ C4L... :) Got half of them correct but still havent gotten todays numbers. :P

Well I started that baby blanket that i was talking about and I THOUGHT I got 3 skeins of the same dye lot...NOPE. The other 2 I got were almost neon compaired to the one I started with. So I went to the store and got 2 more skeins that were kinda close....well...NOPE didn't turn out right so after frogging it 2 times for the new skeins I frogged the whole damn thing. :( I don't think I have ever done that and it isn't a good feeling. Not that I didn't do good work but it was just my stupidity of not checking dye lots.... BAD MONET!!!!

SO I grabbed a skien of Bernat Coordinates in yellow. Don't know how i feel about that with the same pattern but I am determined to get rid of some of my stash. *HAHAHAHA*

Yeah I know...that was funny huh? :)

Well I have done a few Crocheted Bag Holders from Garden Fresh Bag Holders that little booklet that Tara put out a while ago from Annie's Attic. :)

Cute huh? :)

I am now knitting a hat because i don't know what my next project will be. I have SOOOO many in my Q on Ravelry that I am just overwhelmed..lmao I have 103 Q'd and 185 in my fav's. I think I am going to do the Beautiful Baby Blanket from Bernat. I did one in blue and it went fast so I can get it in the store to sell. :) I can use up my other skeins of Bernat softee baby with the pinks, purples and white. I think it would look cute.

Of course instead of buying more yarn I am trying to use up what I have and be a good girl. Of WAIT...I am a bad girl..I just joined a sock club to get sent sock yarn and I have NO IDEA how to make socks.. LMAO although I can figure out other stuff to make with it too. I was thinking of a nice knit chevron scarf. (when I know how to do those stitches) Those are always pretty and with DkKnits colorways you just can't go wrong. Yes I am alive. I read my e-mail and was threatened with Fucking SOCK MONKEY's if I didn't start posting! OMFG....FINE!!! :P So I haven't done much crafting lately...

Did a bunch of Circles for Pam and sent those off...Hope she got them.

I did a few bracelets for a woman in my crochet group. Shes a little older and has a problem with her eye so she can't do the beading so well so I did them for her. :)

I did a KNITTED rooster dishcloth. LOL that was fun but I realized that I bind off REALLY tightly so i wil have to go up a needle size or two the next time.

Did about 10 knitted hats for Love for Linda. My dads girlfriend is a survivor of breast cancer and she helps run the charity at her church so I thought I would help. :)

I also bought Garden Fresh Bag Holders. :) Ya know Tara's booklet? Well I just finished the corn tonight and maybe the carrot and strawberry by the weekend. :) Really fast and fun little things. I'll have to post some pictures later.

Oh and I also did a quick baby blanket for My BF's friend at work. They had a little baby boy! :)

And on the good news side my BF's sister is pregnant for the first time. :) They don't know what they are having yet...she is still in the Oh Fuck i'm Pregnant and throwing up my intestines stage. :( *HUGZ* go out to her. So when she finds out I can't wait to get going on something. I just hope her Aunts not going to do something too cause she knits and crochets. Would that be wierd if we both made her something? I don't know...

So...Work has been busy and I am still living at my BF's mother house. Our car and truck have been breaking lick fucking mad so all the money we saved to move now went to THOSE FUCKING PIECES OF SHIT VEHICLES to get fixed and now we have to save up again. UGH!! Ya know its wonderful that his mother lets us stay here and shes wonderful BUT I fucking need a place of my own. It's been freaking 6 months already and I am Sooooo ready to move on.

Well since my last post and getting those bags finished I havent touched anything. I was going to start a few other projects that I have in ravelry.com Like that crazy cloth dishcloth. looks pretty kewl to make. And what do i get hit with Friday but a freakin stomach virus! oh yeah...Sucks monkey butt! I think I had 2 biscuits last night for dinner and half of them came back up. :( I did get half a nanner down for breakfast this morning though and some gingerale. And i did get some dinner down that casey made. :) It's just not agreeing with my that we want it to stay down. :( Now I was 123 lbs before I got sick and I am totally scared to see what I weigh now. You can literaly see a differance.

Anyway, I am going to try and get myself better to get my butt going on some of these crochet projects for V-day and make some MONEY!! WOOT>

Sure I hate the title thing...

...so yeah still using my new bag...I feel like i need to keep going on my projects and finishing them so I put a new one in. :) So far 3 projects have gone in and 3 have been finished. :) So Here they are:

Beautiful Baby Blanket by Bernat Made with Softee Baby. I do like the yarn cause its soft BUT the freakin' crap LOVES to split so you have to keep sopping to get your damn hook out! :( Was a quick and easy pattern for a REALLY quick baby blanket.

Fat Bottom Bag made from RH Pink Camo and some solid RH that just happened to be a perfect match that I had. And as you can see I made my own handle design as the bamboo handles I had I didn't think would go well with the pink Camo. I think I made a good choice.

And here is the Sugar & Cream Bag....yes thats all its called. lol I did modify this as well because it called for a much bigger size and this thing still came out to be 12 " w X 10" high (not including straps) Made in simple hdc it was also made in 2 pices that were sewn together. PITA!!! They should have just put it in the round and that would have meant only shaping 2 handle parts instead of freakin' 4 of them...and the way they shaped them could have been done better as well. Also the edges still looked as though they were unfinished so I did a sc around. All in all it came out ok but for saying it was such an easy pattern it sure gave me a headache and I'm glad its done. :)

Well thats going to be it for now as my daughter wants to get out her bowling set. Weee FUN FUN!!
